"A romantic journey through the beautiful Berchtesgadener Land"

One last glimpse at Schloß Hellbrunn - then you will be thrilled by the sleeping magestic mountain, the mighty Untersberg and we have arrived at the state border.

Along the river Königsseeache, the journey takes us through a wonderful valley landscape and through picturesque country villages to Unterau. At the Obersalzberg (about 1,000 m above sea level) we see the remains of the mountain residence of Hitler. The next stop is at lake Königssee -  embedded between towering mountains it is a truly royal sight. Probably one of the most famous and legendary of these summits is „Watzmann“ mountain.

On the way back, Berchtesgaden invites you to take a stroll through the pedestrian zone and to taste some Bavarian delicacies.
